• Text sizeDefault, Large, or Larger. Headings, body text, and captions all scale together.
• Line spacingRelaxed adds line height, paragraph spacing, and a little letter and word spacing.
• FontEasier to read switches the text to Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface the Braille Institute designed for readers with low vision.
• ContrastHigh contrast switches to a black-on-white theme with stronger lines and links.
• AnimationOff stops all motion. The site also follows your device's reduced motion setting.

Each setting swaps values in the site's design tokens, the same way the color themes do. Nothing is layered on top of the page, so screen readers and other assistive technology see the same page either way.

• Every page, every themeaxe-core checks all 13 pages against WCAG 2.2 AA rules in each of the 5 color themes, plus the agent view and the open Ask panel.
• KeyboardA script tabs through every page and fails if any focused element has no visible focus indicator. The theme and view controls also respond to arrow keys.
• ReflowEvery page is loaded at 320 pixels wide with the largest text, relaxed spacing, and the legible font, and fails if anything scrolls sideways.
• ContrastThe design token build measures every theme and refuses to build if text, muted text, or links fall below 4.5:1. All 10 themes pass; Canyon night and Blue and High contrast meet AAA (7:1).

Automated tools catch only part of what makes a site accessible, so a passing result doesn't mean the site is free of problems. Known gaps:

• Screen reader testingThe site hasn't yet been tested by people who use screen readers day to day.
• Diagrams and imagesThe PK/PD compartment diagram has a short text label rather than a full description, and image descriptions in the earlier case studies haven't been reviewed.
• Navigation at large textOn mid-size screens with the Larger text setting, the top navigation gets crowded.
